As with any technical equipment or precision devices, results are rarely 100% conclusive. Oil Tank Scanning, Detections and Reports are not provided as or intended as any form of guarantee as to whether or not a Underground heating Oil Tank and/or Fuel Tank (UST) is present. As such, no warranties or guarantees are being provided either expressed or implied. No additional oral representations are being provided. WCTR will only refund the fee charged for the above scan service if, in the future, an Underground heating Oil Tanks and/or Fuel Tanks (UST) is located on the above property.
Scanning service and findings are limited to the exterior of the property only, specifically surrounding the residential dwelling. The interior of buildings or dwellings are not scanned as part of this service, including inside of garages, carports, or sheds. The services completed, findings and this report are not intended to make any recommendation or representation as to the advisability or inadvisability of property sale and/or purchase and should therefore not be interpreted as such.
Survey findings are based on human interpretation and utilization of equipment with varying degrees of accuracy which is dependent on several factors including survey conditions when the service was completed including but not limited to: soil types, ground saturation, accumulated snow or ice, objects impeding access to areas on the property, additions made to the residential dwelling, or rebar/metal mesh in concrete.
Therefore, WCTR provides no warranty for its services whatsoever and will not accept any liability, costs, lawsuits and/or court actions if an underground Heating Oil Tank, Fuel Tank (UST), or contaminated soils from a current or previously removed aboveground or underground heating Oil Tank and/or Fuel Tank are discovered anywhere on the above property.
